Yea! It’s Sunday and time for Six Sentence Sunday
Every week participants post six sentences from something they are writing – or have written. It’s a lot of fun and really a great way to meet new writers! And I’ve met some terrific people. Thank you !
Be sure to check out the other great participants and thanks so much for stopping by!
The Devil’s Mistress. On the night after she meets her soon to be lover and learns what he does, she has a sequence of “Dancing with the Devil” dreams.
Then the dream flipped to a scene right out of Dirty Dancing
He beckoned to her with curled index finger and soft lips mouthed, “Come to me, come to me.”
And, oh, she did; she melted right into him.
They danced; gyrating hip to hip with hungry eyes.
He in black, she in a skimpy blue dress, slit to the thigh, the music raucous, the lights dim.
They danced; her leg wound around his waist, she leaning into him, his groin kneading her back and she needing his touch, smelling the aura of lust, hair thrashing wildly with abandon in a dance session that set her pulse to race, body to blush, and eyes to gleam.
.The Devil’s Mistress, a paranormal romance, is about an unlucky in love woman and a man who works in mid-management for the Devil. He’s the one who dispatches souls to his boss, Mr. D. She vows to restore her lover’s humanity and not lose him in the process. The story is told entirely from her point of view.
