Six Sentence Sunday Sept 23

Yea! It’s Sunday and time for Six Sentence Sunday

Every week participants post six sentences from something they are writing – or have written. It’s a lot of fun and really a great way to meet new writers!

And I’ve met some terrific people. Thank you !

Be sure to check out the other great participants and thanks so much for stopping by.

This week we return to chapter one see here when Phoebe meets the rest of the group for the first time.

You can find the first snippet from this scene here.

With a big smile he (Charles)  flung open the door.

“Welcome!”

A quick glimpse revealed a petite woman dwarfed even more so by Gideon’s six feet.

“Come in, Come in,” and he gestured for them to enter.

Before Phoebe had a chance to shrug off her blue and violet print jacket, Charles wrapped his arms around her like a warm blanket on a cold night, noting the jacket matched her eyes.

His profession, as a primary school teacher, had taught him to watch for details otherwise the munchkins would bite his ankles and stampede away from the building as fast as their chubby legs could carry them.
