Fantasy for Blogophilia 34.5

Fantasy

Over the Hill and Far Away  or so it seems from my perspective. The tree stoops, its leaves leisurely float soundlessly to the snow covered ground, like angels’ tears. Five bright blue horses calmly amble among  the branches, several bending to nibble the sweet grass, while others stand in place, hushed, as if waiting for the artist to paint their portrait. The contrast and allure:   blue animals, white snow and green plant,  together  with the  golden and cadmium red foliage, this idyllic scene that I gaze upon, wounds my soul.  I gravitate toward the vision. The image  must be real. Dreams are never this breath taking.

It is so easy to gravitate to a reality that has the qualities of a dream state, Fantasy or reality this is a most excellent write!…But I am missing Gideon this week, I thought I saw a glimpse of him behind the street sign in picture 1. 🙂 8 points Earthling! 🙂

Your description is always breathtaking. And the pic of the autumn leaves makes me wish fall would arrive down here. Probably not for another two weeks. 😦 But yours is beautiful already. Great job!

You weave it well! Your picture of the rose looks very much like my rose garden right now. Such beauty can only come from nature. 🙂

Cool! Love this! “wounds my soul”… leaves me searching for deeper meanings, like the seasons are passing too quickly.
