Six Sentence Sunday Dec 16

Yea! It’s Sunday and time for Six Sentence Sunday

Every week participants post six sentences from something they are writing – or have written. It’s a lot of fun and really a great way to meet new writers!

And I’ve met some terrific people. Thank you !

Be sure to check out the other great participants and thanks so much for stopping by.

The Misfits is a group of four couples, consisting of four who work as part of the mid-management team for the devil, Mr.D, as soul collectors, and their partners, who are human.

Set up: Victor and Beth, both devil’s agents, are at Maggie’s Place listening to poetry and music. The place is crowded and they were warned they may have to share their table. Charles and Eve are friends and human.

Beth broke off her conversation with Victor to glance at the couple the hostess seated at the table.

They looked like a twosome but maybe people would think she and Victor were a couple also.

Her interest was piqued by the man’s long blonde hair neatly tied in a pony tail.

She made eye contact with him and nodded.

When the waiter brought the drinks, he gave the man’s beer to her and her cocktail to him.

“Oh this must be yours,” Beth said, as they exchanged beverages his fingers brushed hers, followed by a  tingling sensation at the contact.
