Bernie used to have flights of fancy and dream of going to Egypt. It’s no longer a dream. We visited in January.

Dazed and Confused by Cairo traffic. You need four hands: steering wheel, turn signal, horn and gear shift.

Very cool that you & Bernie got to visit Egypt. It sounds like it would be an interesting trip, although quite dangerous currently with the unrest. Those are really cute t-shirts from Joleene!!! 😀
yes glad not there now. Jo made the shirts of my sayings. 😀
Quite a trip.
in more ways than one
Those pictures reminded me of home on Mars! I am sure you had a most interesting voyage! 8 points Earthling! 🙂
didn’t realise Mars was that old or that the traffic is that bad 😀
Glad that Bernie was able to experience his dream! Traffic like that can be experienced in many major cities of the world. It looks in the pictures that the air had a haze to it, was it always like that?
Quite a trip you had and I am glad you are sharing it with us!
Great to see you! yes the air is always like that in Cairo and the traffic is worse than in many places as well
I think most of Eygpt’s pre-dates Frank Lloyd Wright. Not that is a good excuse. Still glad you lived the dream
or the nightmare in my case
Loved the t-shirts and the photos were amazing. OMG, for a country mouse like me I’d be soooo overwhelmed!
it’s overwhelming for anyone…
very dramatic pictures Sue… you have a good eye for a photo girl…
the condo looked like it was in a different part of the world Sue, against the back drop of the city streets…
it seems they drive a lot like me, but the Egyptians use a blindfold as well… ahahahah…
the T shirt logo’s are very funny … love them…
I feel I have learned a little more about Egypt looking at your blog Sue…
a place I feel I should visit.. full of life and the hustle and bustle of the crowded streets…
something I would love to wander about just people watching…. but with one hand on my gun!!
brilliant read Sue… you captured the feel of the place perfectly girl… loved it… xxx
thank you – more to follow
LOL! The pyramid tshirt was way too funny! I wonder what caption would they make if it was “Kisses” chocolate. Not going to say it out loud though 🙂
I’m missing the joke…
wow, the difference between the city and the gated community is astounding!
This looks very nice. I bet you had a great time! 🙂
