Bird strut

Taken by Lori Epperson. Sun streaming in church window. Church is about 140 years old and probably one of the oldest structures in Houston

Also taken by Lori

Taken on ferry from Galveston to Bolivar Peninsula

Taken by Lori Epperson – spectacular!

Downtown

The glass buildings in downtown make for some reflective shots

Lori’s feet standing on Houston from the 60th floor of the Chase Building

Building reflected in a puddle

From the ferry – can’t get them like this at home

An online friend visited me in England from America last year. It was great to meet her and her husband. She was just as I’d imagined. Love the photos. They’re spectacular. I visited your cit for a few days back in the 90’s. Of all the photos, I like the daylight one of seagulls over the ocean.
Awesome photos! I love the bird strut and the building reflected in the puddle. So crisp! The seagulls in flight are beautiful too.
A writing friend of mine visited me last yea,r which was fun. We’d known each other online for about two years prior to that. She was going to be in my area so we made arrangements to hook up.
Stunning photos! My favorite is the puddle. 🙂
No, I haven’t traveled to meet an online friend, but I’m hoping to meet someone one day on my travels.
What BEAUTIFUL photos!! I have met online friends and it’s been AWESOME!
Love all the ones of birds.
Loving those photographs. Particularly that last one 🙂
Ahh, lovely pics. I love Houston – lived there for about 6 months many moons ago. Nice and hot…
My memories of Houston mostly center on being too hot, although I will say the Mexican food was better than we get here
Nice photos. A couple of years ago I went to America to meet a handful of online friends. For my kids it will be natural for them to meet up with people they got to know online. Have to be careful of course. Happy A to Zing!
Beautiful pictures. I especially live the bird strut!
Gorgeous photos. I’ve never been to Houston, although I’ve been to Texas a number of times. One more place to add to my travel list!
