I assumed a plethora of people would comment when I posted a give-away for my book, The Bench, poetry and very short fiction.
One person responded.
I find it hard to believe that no one was interested in signing up for a free copy of the book. A beautiful expensive paperback.
I guess that’s what happens when one assumes.
I’ve been MIA for a while, Sue, so I didn’t see the announcement or I would have thrown my hat in the ring. Is it too late to do so?
So sorry, Sue. I missed that post. Life had been very demanding lately and I haven’t been as active online. I would have definitely commented. Perhaps you should run it again???
I missed it, too. I don’t always have time to do more than skim my WordPress feed.
I would have signed up if I had known! I’m sorry, Sue. 😦
It depends on how many people saw it. With the book release and blog tour and book covers and writing the next book and promotions i am a month or more behind on blog posts. But contests rarely get the number you’d like. Even with constant advertising my blog tour giveaway had maybe 40% what I hoped. It’s going into spring and where it’s nice people are spending less time online.
…and you know I have been offline almost entirely for the past 2 weeks…
